Commemorate the April 29, 1945 liberation of the Dachau Concentration Camp by joining us for a special presentation by award-winning historian Liz Coursen.
The Dachau Concentration Camp was Germany’s first and last concentration camp. Please join award-winning historian Liz Coursen as she traces Dachau’s history, from its modest beginnings as a prison for Hitler’s political enemies, to its role as a “model” Nazi concentration camp, to its liberation by members of the U.S. 42nd Infantry, using riveting newspaper articles, photos, and eyewitness accounts to tell the tale.
